Agent and broker commissions today live in shared spreadsheets — re-keyed by hand, argued over, paid late. The engine computes every statement automatically from premium actually collected, so payouts are correct, transparent and on time.
One workbook, emailed around, edited by three people. This is a representative export — illustrative.

Where it breaks
Commission gets paid on premium that was never collected. Agents can't see how their number was built, so they argue. Nobody can reproduce last month's run.
Rules are set once, per product and channel. Move a rate and every statement below recomputes instantly — no formulas to copy, nothing to break. Rates are indicative.
Commission is computed on premium collected, not premium billed. Only paid premium earns a payout — the same principle as cover itself: no premium, no cover. Figures indicative.

Every agent sees exactly how their commission was built, policy by policy. Transparent breakdowns are what end the disputes.

Commission accrues only on GHS collected. Where a premium is part-paid, only the collected portion earns — visible on the line, so there is nothing left to argue about.
